At Desert Valley Hospital our new Heart Center & Cardiac Care Program
brings together cardiologists, cardiac and vascular surgeons, interventional
radiologists and support staff, tackling heart and vascular disease from
prevention and screening to the newest treatments for heart and vascular problems.
Our goal is to provide patients with exceptional care for heart and vascular
disorders, from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and rehabilitation.

The new Heart Center has an open-heart surgery suite for bypass surgery
and other heart procedures. All of the beds are capable of cardiac monitoring
from the intensive care unit. The new Center also offers operating suites,
digital X-ray imaging system and two cardiac catheterization labs, which
are used to detect arterial blockages that could cause a heart attack.
Our Cardiac Surgical Team is well-trained and experienced in all aspects
of cardiac and thoracic surgery.
A broad range of cardiac surgical services is available 24 hours a day.
Our cardiac-surgery team includes not only experienced surgeons, but also
a highly trained clinical staff to deliver a treatment plan designed specifically
for each individual patient. This interactive approach ensures that every

Our new Cardiac Catheterization Labs are available 24/7 and feature technologically
advanced equipment and therapies for blocked arteries, aneurysms, and
clots, as well as procedures in treating heart rhythm disorders, implantable
cardiac defibrillators, and pacemakers. The Cardiac Echo Lab is staffed
by professionals certified in the use of Echo and Vascular Technologies.
